The system takes the set of signatures which are common to both sites the user selected, and displays that set in a 3d scatter plot. The scatter plot is a stack of signatures; each layer in the stack represents one chemical signature, distributed across the grid of sites. The user can rapidly examine each signature's distribution by mousing over the y axis of the plot.
