The first step in the process of finding interesting proteins is to overlay a graph onto the image. The user places the overlay by selecting a point for the lower left-hand corner of the graph, then a point for the upper right-hand corner. The overlaid graph consists of one sphere for each site in the grid of spots. The diameter of each sphere represents the relative number of chemical signatures detected at the corresponding site.
